Mpalo publishes its legal documents in layers. Each layer answers a different question: what governs the service, what happens to information, what the institution commits to, and what is true in the systems today.
Mpalo Inc. is a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation. This page is an index and status record. It is not itself a contract, and it does not replace the executed corporate instruments or the agreement that governs a particular use of a service.
Operative terms govern the relationship with the service. Privacy documents describe processing and rights. Institutional statements describe commitments and current status. Where a statement is marked as a launch condition, intention, or counsel review item, it is not presented as an executed legal instrument.

The standard
Authority is a chain.
Every material statement should lead to a source, a status, and evidence of the system or instrument behind it.
- Source. The governing document or public record is named.
- Status. Current, future, intended, or under counsel review is stated plainly.
- Evidence. Technical and operational claims are supported by a control, test, or review record.
- Accountability. Material changes receive a new version and a preserved history.
